How we work

A clear and organised commercial process

MCL aims to maintain a transparent working process, from the first contact to the follow-up of the supply or logistics operation.

Customer request

The customer presents their need, indicating the products or services required, quantities, specifications and destination.

Request analysis

We check whether the information is sufficient to identify a solution and request clarifications whenever necessary.

Consultation and assessment

We identify supply options and, where applicable, consult logistics partners to obtain prices, availability, lead times and conditions.

Commercial proposal

We present a proposal with the scope of supply, prices, available specifications, payment terms, estimated lead times and relevant exclusions.

Confirmation and order

After acceptance, we confirm the agreed conditions, availability, applicable payments and the steps needed to start the operation.

Execution coordination

We follow the supply activities and, where included, the logistics coordination, according to the defined responsibilities.

Delivery and closure

We follow the delivery or completion of the contracted service and handle the documentary and commercial items provided for in the agreement.

Post-supply follow-up

Where applicable, we stay in touch with the customer to handle matters related to the order and to identify future needs.

What we need from the customer

To speed up the preparation of a proposal

We recommend sending:

  • Description of the product or service
  • Brand, model or reference, if applicable
  • Technical specifications or datasheet
  • Quantity
  • Delivery location
  • Requested deadline
  • Compliance requirements
  • Budget or commercial conditions, when available
  • Photographs or reference documents, if relevant

Clarity on conditions

Each proposal is subject to availability, to confirmation by suppliers and partners, to commercial conditions and to the agreed terms. Lead times are estimates until confirmed and may depend on factors outside MCL's control.

The extent of the responsibility of MCL and of the partners involved must be clearly defined in the applicable proposal or contract.
